Kanye West apologises to Jewish fans

In the spirit of Christmas, American hip-hop artiste, Kanye West is seeking to make peace with his Jewish fans after months of anti-semitic rants on social media.

Now legally known as Ye, the rapper took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, Boxing Day, where he tendered his apology in Hebrew script.

Since 2022, Ye has been airing his controversial opinions about the Jewish community both via his social media pages and various interviews.

Kanye later clarified that he meant to say Defcon 3 in the tweet. Defence readiness condition (Defcon) is an alert system used by the US military, with five levels of readiness, with level one being the highest. Defcon level 3 refers to an “Increase in force readiness above normal readiness.”
