Stardom has prescribed new ways of living for me –Adekunle Olopade, BBNaija star

Adekunle Olopade is that guy you like to watch in Big Brother House. Before his sojourn into the house he was not doing badly professionally.

In this interview with Sunday Sun, he revealed more about his personality and why he chose to partake in the Big Brother Naija for the second time,  the All Stars Season edition, that ended in October, 2023. Excerpts:

The author expresses gratitude for having experience in the All Stars Season, which helped remove negative notions about their personality and allowed them to be themselves. They were initially unsure of their role and chose to keep quiet to avoid misinterpretation. The author's first experience in the house was an opportunity to fully experience it, but they later used it well.

The challenges faced after leaving the house were not significant, as BBN All Star Seasons was more of a blessing than a challenge. The author was motivated to return for the second season due to their experience and the money they gained from the previous season.

Before participating in the show, the author had worked in the corporate sector, working as Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Analysis, and Media Manager. Their time in the financial sector allowed them to understand customers' problems and find solutions using digital tools. Before entertainment, they worked with agencies focusing on SMEs and ran a small business, fashion, and business.

Managing stardom and going to Balogun and Tinubu markets was challenging for the author, as they had to adapt to different ways of living. They always go to Balogun and Tinubu markets with masks and quickly walk into the market and return. This change in behavior may not be possible again, but the experience has helped them adjust and become more authentic in their personal lives.
